Lake Forest has a lot to offer people of all ages and interests. Everything from crafts to concerts and a lot in between. These three events are within a mile of Kelmscott Apartments and all are free!

Mark your calendars for these fun festivities:

Fall Adult Crafts

Each month, the Lake Bluff Public Library invites adults to tap into their inner children at their craft fair. In October, participants will be creating Jack-O-Lanterns out of tin cans and then November will offer a class that teaches attendees how to upcycle books. All materials are provided and no creative experience is required. This is a great chance to meet others from the community and maybe even make some new friends! The event takes place October 10th from 1:30-2:30 pm and November 14th from 1:30-2:30 pm.

GO Lake Forest Historical Walk and Learn

Stroll and take in interesting facts at the GO Lake Forest Historical Walk and Learn. The event starts at the Historical Society and circles back at the end for a viewing of a special exhibit detailing the history of Lake Forest. The event takes place on October 12th.

Concert: Ben Tatar

Ben Tatar is an instructor at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music. His music melds together a variety of instruments incorporated into his original songs offering an infectious beat. Sing and dance along on October 20th at Lake Bluff Public Library.

These are just three of the upcoming events, for a broader list visit the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce website! If you have any questions, please, don’t hesitate to contact us anytime!
